COVID-19 Updates from Heathcote Chiropractic Clinic
We are now fully open!
We are very pleased to let you know we are now open to all our patients for both routine/maintenance chiropractic care as well as emergency care. We are also able to help any prospective new patients who are suffering with pain and require chiropractic care to contact us ASAP.
Thankfully, we have experienced a very busy return to the clinic following the shut down period but there will be some patients who are naturally still anxious about coming in to see us. In light of this we felt it was very important for you to understand how seriously we take the health and safety of you, your families and our team.
Your safety and that of our receptionists/chiropractors is our highest priority and we are therefore following all recommended Public Health England guidelines and measures to ensure a clean, safe and stress-free environment for everyone.
Following a thorough risk assessment of the clinic the following protocols have been introduced:
- All patients are being pre-screened before coming to the clinic via telephone/email.
- All members of the Heathcote Chiropractic team have their temperatures checked daily when in the clinic and all patients on each visit.
- All members of the Heathcote Chiropractic team and all patients are required to wear a face mask/face covering on entering the building and for the duration of their treatment/time in the clinic.
- Receptionists are also using gloves where indicated and a perspex shield has been installed on the reception counter.
- All chiropractors are wearing appropriate PPE as per Public Health England recommendations.
- All patients are being requested to sanitise their hands on entering the reception area.
- We are limiting the number of patients into the clinic at any one time.
- We have removed magazines, toys and other difficult to clean items and patients are being requested to go straight into a treatment room on entering the clinic and sit on a plastic chair/lie on the table.
- We are asking patients to pay via Contactless payments or BACS.
- We have increased our disinfecting routine of treatment tables, chairs, desks and chiropractic equipment.
We would also like to remind you that if you are feeling unwell in any way, particularly if you have any flu-like symptoms (persistent cough, high temperature etc), have been out of the country and are required to self isolate or have been in contact with someone with possible Covid-19 symptoms that you are not to attend the clinic but to contact us to re-arrange the appointment accordingly.
